South Bay has a very narrow definition of “blast frozen.”  Many seafood suppliers use the term too loosely.  Decades of experience has taught us how to deliver the best quality previously-frozen protein to the table.

• Business Development:  weights and measures.

South Bay listens to customers and works with its partner-plants to develop custom specifications as well as industry-standard specs (e.g. weight, length, width, thickness, color, shape, texture, pack-type, private labeling, etc.)  South Bay focuses on fewer items in order to devote bandwidth to custom items.

A lot goes into building sustainable, efficient, and compliant partnerships that meet our standards, and developing partnerships takes between 12 and 24 months.  Therefore, South Bay Seafood identifies its strengths and focuses on what it’s good at.
